Another lovely organic aromatic water from France.
St John’s Wort is renowned for its properties as an anti-depressant and in the gentle form of an aromatic water (hydrolat) is often selected by animals which are ‘shut down’ or depressed.
It is also calming and cleansing for the GIT and can help to soothe colicky symptoms. An excellent cicatrisant (skin healing) too, it is emotionally supportive and increases feelings of general wellbeing.
It can help humans with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and the suggestion is to take in water on waking up in the winter.
The animal may select to inhale, to lick or present an area for topical application.
