Organic Orange (citrus sinensis) Cold-pressed Essential Oil, also called ‘Sweet Orange’
A generally uplifting oil which is selected for insect bites, irritated skin & digestive problems.
Sometimes horses suffering from sweet itch will select this oil to ingest and / or for topical application. They may also enjoy fresh oranges (please ensure any oranges offered are organic, since orange crops are heavily treated with pesticide).
Sweet orange essential oil can also be helpful in treating other skin problems such as psoriasis and allergies and is sometimes selected in preference to german chamomile.
