Infused (Macerated) & Fixed Oils for Applied Zoopharmacognosy

As the name suggests, infused oils (also known as macerated oils) are made by infusing the dried herb in a specific oil – usually sunflower or almond oil.

These macerated / infused herbal oils are widely used in applied zoopharmacognosy as well as in more general human applications (eg comfrey oil, arnica oil for relief from joint & muscle pain).
