Product Description

Sample pack of Herbs for Horses

Containing 11 different products (mostly herbs) for self-selection

Find out which your horse needs without the expense of buying a large pack of each one

Trial Pack A is made up of the herbs & substances most often chosen by horses in our experience.
It is important not to mix any of these with your horse’s feed, but allow your horse to choose or refuse each one.
If possible, try to offer several of the herbs at one time – sometimes a horse will refuse one herb, take a few mouthfuls of another, then go back to the herb they refused a few moments ago – as well as knowing which herbs they need and the quantity (dosage), they also know the most beneficial sequence.
It is always worth re-offering on a regular basis items in which there was no interest initially.  Your horse’s body will vary in its needs from day to day, depending on many factors including management, level of work, time of year…  Just because your horse refuses a herb on one or two occasions doesn’t mean he will never need it.

Pack A Herbs for Horses contains:

  • Calendula
  • Chamomile
  • Clivers
  • Comfrey
  • Dandelion
  • Mint
  • Nettle
  • Rose hips
  • Plus organic seaweed, organic salt (no additives, can be used in table grinder), brewers’ yeast
  • And internal grade Green Clay – may be selected for stomach upsets, detox and externally is a wonderful wound powder having anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties; can also be used for poulticing (always ask the animal before applying)
Occasionally, if one of the herbs specified above is temporarily out of stock, we will substitute an equally popular herb; the quantities will vary according to the fluctuations in price of the constituent herbs to keep the overall price of the trial pack stable.
The whole pack will weigh around 1 kg to keep it within the lowest p&p charge.
